Betty Nesom Bollich

 

Betty Nesom Bollich, 81, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas.

 

Betty was born on July 19, 1942, in Forest Hill, Louisiana to Myrtle Holloway Nesom and Woodrow Wilson Nesom.  She enjoyed gardening, quilting, sewing, charity work, and baking. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and volunteered for many activities at St. Charles Catholic Church where she and her husband were members for over fifty years. 

 

Survivors include her husband of fifty-seven years, Wilbur Bollich; her children, Gregory Bollich and his wife Meredith Bollich and their daughter Alisa Bollich, Roxann Bollich Soliz and her husband R. Thomas Soliz and their sons Ryan Soliz and Sean Soliz; her nephews, Cody Bollich and his wife Kari Bollich and their children, Preslie and Pailyn, Paxton and her other nephew Jeff Wells and wife Brenda Wells and their children Savannah Wells Dunn, Sydney Wells and Shane Wells.

 

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow Nesom and Myrtle Nesom; her siblings, Rita Nesom Wells, Charlene Nesom and Wilson Nesom. 

 

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Melancon-Levingston Funeral Home in Nederland.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland with entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. 

 

Serving as Pallbearers will be Greg Bollich, Cody Bollich, Jeff Wells, Jeremy Khoury, Ryan Soliz and Alisa Bollich.
