Betty Jeanne Chase passed away, Monday, May 10, 2010. She was born in Louise, MS on August 3, 1921 to the late Erma Oxley Barnes Daniels and the late George H. Barnes. Betty Jeanne made her home in Port Neches, TX until moving to Plano, TX in September 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Donald L. Chase and is survived by her children George (Carol), Mary (Jim) and Donnie; grandchildren Steve, Tammy, Chase, and Megan. Betty Jeanne is fondly remembered by her family and friends as a devoted wife and loving mother. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of one's choice. The family will receive friends from 4:00p.m.-6:00p.m., Friday, May 14th at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Funeral services will take place at 10:00a.m., Saturday, May 15th at the United Methodist Temple in Port Arthur, TX.
