It killed me to be unable to attend the service, but I will always have fond memories of the many Christmases, thanksgivings, and summers spent with you in Port Arthur.

Betty was a truly great lady who I first met when we taught together at the old Wheatley. I will miss her greatly.

On behalf of our son, Charles Richard Thomas, who is Autistic, and a former student of Ms. Elder, at Wheatley School(P.A.I.S.D.). We want to let you know how much love she showed our son and us in the early stages of his diagnosis. She helped us through a stressful period of our lives and was a God send at a time when we needed it. We want the family to know that we send our sincere condolences in the loss of your love one, an Angel, to parents who needed her love and experience. May she rest in peace.

Vince and I send our thoughts and prayers to all of you. We only met a few times but "Aunt Jean" was a true delight to visit with and we enjoyed her company each time. Our hope is for great memories and wonderful stories to bring peace.

Aunt Jean- I wish that I could be at the service in person, but I will be thinking of you from Seattle. I am so thankful that Mason was able to meet you and that we've had many opportunities to meet and chat over the years. You were intelligent, independent, loyal, kind, patient, and possessed a gentle grace. You were always interested in hearing about your family (and loved getting emails with pictures) and quick with a laugh. You were loved and you will be missed. Love, Leah

What a dynamic lady! She always made me feel welcome and special when I spoke with her. She will be missed in Griffin Park and the Red Hussar Alumni community.
