Betty Huval Hatfield, 77, of Port Arthur, passed away September 9, 2014. Betty was born in Orange, TX to Rene Huval and Dollie Pellerin Huval. She spent most of her life in the Nederland/Port Neches area. She worked many years at Airport Towers and her last years as a homemaker.

She is survived by daughter, Sindy DuBose Flores & husband, Joe of Nederland; son, Wayne McKee & wife, Leah of Groves; granddaughters, Devin McKee, Savannah McKee; grandson, Stephen Marcantel.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death, by granddaughter, Lacey Johnson and 6 beautiful sisters.

Thanks to Harbor Hospice for phenomenal care and special thanks to nurses Mary and Shannon (North Wing) whom made our stay there beyond comfortable. We would also like to thank Dr. Izi Obokhare and Dr. Earnest Hymel, who made her last year possible.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, September 12, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, under the direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home. Officiating will be her nephew, Richard Harley.
