Betty Kavanaugh Seal, 91, of Groves, Texas passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019 at her home with Connie, Boots, Kristi and Marie by her side. She was born June 5, 1927 in DeQuincy, Louisiana to James Francis Kavanaugh and Alice LaLanne Kavanaugh. Betty had lived in this area for 89 years and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and member of the Volunteers at Renaissance Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend J.C. Coon officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held before the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Francis H. Seal, brother, Jim Kavanaugh and son-in-law, Freemon McKee. She is survived by two daughters, Connie Seal and Susan Otte and husband Steve, sister, Boots LeBlanc, grandson, Christopher Orena and wife Chrissy and three great grandchildren, Brooke, Kyle and Jenna.
