Betty S. Marriott, 75, of Montgomery, Texas died Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in Montgomery, Texas. Betty was born May 6, 1936 in Unadilla, New York to Perry Andrew Shaver and Grace Amelia Luther Shaver. She was an 8 year resident of Montgomery, Texas and a former resident of Port Neches and Groves, Texas. She retired from Neches Butane/Jefferson Chemical as a Security Guard. She was a member of Hope Tabernacle in Montgomery, Texas and a former member of Landmark United Pentecostal Church and Landmark United Pentecostal Church Ladies Auxiliary. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Landmark United Pentecostal Church in Port Neches with Rev. James Lee officiating and Rev. David Whitaker assisting under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home Port Neches. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2012 at Landmark United Pentecostal Church. Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Alice and brothers, George, Douglas and Arthur. She was one of 13 children. Surviving relatives include her daughter, Genee' Marriott-Emfinger and husband David of Montgomery, Texas; son, Richard Eugene Marriott, Jr. of Port Neches, Texas; 7 sisters, Lois McCarthy, Dorothy Barnes, Beverly Steele, Carol Newell and husband Homer, Sara Lowe and husband Paul, Sandra Schleier and husband Edward, and Mary Shaver all of New York State, New York; brother, Russell Shaver of New York State, New York; grandchildren, Colton Anderson, Alyssa Anderson, Levi Emfinger, Ashley Emfinger and Bryan Stutes and numerous nieces and nephews.
