I knew Joyce years ago when we both attended Central Baptist Church. She hosted my wedding shower and was one of the sweetest people I knew. She always lit up the room when she was there! My condolences go out to her family -- I know her presence will be missed but also know that she is now in the presence of our living God.

Grace Elliott remembers Joyce giving her home hair perms after putting the twins down for a nap, and what a wonderful Christian woman she always was

Please accept our condolences on the loss of Joyce. I only had the occasion to meet her last year but she was my mother's (Fay Addcox) cousin by marriage. I had a wonderful time visiting with Joyce twice in the past year. She had some wonderful stories of my mom and my Aunt Joy. She especially had enjoyed sharing "beauty shop day" with my mom and it was fun to hear about those times. I know she was a faithful servant at FBC and that she will be missed both by her family and her church family. Best regards, Diane
