Beulah M. Stewts
God was ready for Beulah this time. She passed away on June 12, 2018 in Beaumont, Texas.
Beulah was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Debbie Stewts Smith of Port Neches; two brothers, J. D. Hare and wife Josephine of Vidor, Miles D. Hare and wife Linda of Jasper, and her parents Sam and Hallie Hare of Silsbee. Her survivors are son Chris Stewts and wife Ruth Ann of Port Arthur; Bert Smith son-in-law and wife, Kimberly of Port Neches; grandchildren Kayne Smith and wife Emily, Shannon Smith Rodman of Las Vegas, NV, Jim Young, Lorretta Dukes and Lynette Young and 10 great-grandchildren; and her very best friend, Terri Eaves my angel and Bert Smith, who was so good to me; and my dear brother, J. N. Hare and Mary Anne.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Jason Martin, officiant. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
