Early in my career, I had the privilege of working with Gail when she managed a reading pilot in Nederland ISD for Laidlaw Brothers, the textbook publisher I worked for at the time. She was always gracious, generous with her time, and deeply committed to improving reading instruction and supporting every student in her care. The national success of the program was higher because of the suggestions Gail made to the author and editors. Gail and I stayed in touch throughout our careers, until her retirement. I will always remember Gail as a dedicated educator and leader who made a lasting difference in Nederland and beyond, as well as in the lives of countless students and teachers. I will also remember her as my friend. Please accept my heartfelt condolences, along with my gratitude for the example she set for all of us who had the privilege to work alongside her.

Hello my name is Alexa my heart and prayers go out to you and your family during this difficult time. When I lost one of my loved ones this scripture helped me & gave me solid evidence to believe that soon, God will undo the pain of death. At Acts 24:15, it says that God will undo death by means of a resurrection. And at revelation 21:4 says that And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” So you see God has a plan to undo this death for mankind. I hope this brought you some form of comfort! If you would like more scriptures on this please see your copy of the Bible or this free website called Jw.org

Ms. Krohn was a such a wonderful person. I remember her the most as my Principal at Central Middle School and I always thought she was so pretty and so sweet. She really cared. She later played the organ in my wedding. I was saddened to hear of her passing. Heaven gained a Special Angel.
