Billie Ruth Allen, 84, of Nederland, Texas, formerly of Brookeland and Fannett Texas passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. She was born in Ratcliff, Texas to Tom Ray and Ethel Beatrice Smith on September 5, 1940.

Billie enjoyed watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys. She also enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play their sport of choice. In addition, she enjoyed watching old western movies and her favorite Fox News. She loved to laugh and have fun spending time with her family and friends and her beloved dog, Penny.

When Billie was married to Buford they loved traveling. They would travel throughout the United States making many memories with their children in the beginning and then just the two of them.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of forty-two years, James Buford Allen; her two daughters, Lettie Allen and Shirley Stelly; her sister, Jennie Breaux; her brother-in-law Richard Broussard; and her daughter-in-law, Diana Allen.

Billie is survived by her daughters and spouses, Kathleen Fore (Victor) of Nederland; Brandy McMilian (Tony) of Fannett; Christian Pirtle (John) of LaBelle; Amber Pitts (Daniel) of Vidor; and son Johnny Allen of LaBelle; Grandchildren; Lindsey Simmons (James) of LaBelle; Matthew Allen (Cheyenne) of LaBelle; Taylor Fore (Juniper) of Porter; Marissa Peltier (Christopher) of Fannett; Tori Myers (Peyton) of Taylors Landing; Harleigh Pirtle, Callie Pirtle, Jori Pirtle of Labelle; Ranson Pitts, Dillion Pitts, Dagan Pitts of Vidor; sister Goldie Maxine Broussard of Nederland; brother-in-law CJ Breaux of Nederland; five great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m., at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, Texas, 77627. Interment will follow the service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves, Texas.
