Miss Evelyn, Doug, and Terri… Dale and I are so sad to hear of Billy’s passing. We always enjoyed visiting with them in church both at Hillcrest and Beaux Garden Baptist. The last conversation I had with Billy was him asking me when I was going to sing again. I wish I had been able to sing for him one more time before he left. But one day we will all be together again. Praying for comfort for your family. With much love, Gloria, Dale and Shirley Stagg:pray::pray::pray::pray:

Doug, Terri and Aunt Evelyn, Uncle Billy will be dearly missed. I have such great memories of being with him all through my whole life! What a great fisherman, hunter, news personality, photographer, writer, wild game cook, husband, father and good Christian man he was........and the list goes on and on. Always had a smile on his face and always had a larger than life personality! Had a great sense of humor that will be missed. Gary and I are keeping you all in our prayers and we are just a phone call away if you need us. Love and prayers, Gary and Donna K. Woods.

Billy and Evelyn sat behind me in church. Called him my buddy. Enjoyed our chats so much. Missed him so much when they go to the point they couldn’t make it any more. So very sorry for your loss. Dewana and Troy Burnham

Many wonderful adventures with the Halfin’s! Doug kept us laughing while Terri joined in, Aunt Evelyn kept our feet tapping and singing and Uncle Billy provided the fish, duck, frog legs, gumbo and more. Dad and Uncle Billy provided us great memories, Mom and Aunt Evelyn kept us informed! We love you Uncle Billy.

Billy was someone you enjoyed being around, great personality and full of laughter. I got to know him while taking Real Estate courses. I sent a note to him after becoming an Appraiser and still have the tape with his hearty congratulations. Prayers going out to his family, he'll be missed.
