Billy Richard Steere

Billy Richard Steere, 43, of Groves, Texas passed away December 18, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Beaumont.

Billy was born on January 25, 1978. He had a heart of gold and the personality that could light up any room. Billy had the quickest wit and could make anyone laugh. He had the ability to make friends with whoever he met and would always find himself to be the center of attention. Billy would be the first person to help someone in need and would give you the shirt off his back. He also had a love for animals and would feed all the neighbors’ cats. Billy was a strong, tough and resilient person, but would be the first to run or scream at the sign of a bug or snake. Billy was a loving person and was easily loved. His kindness and loving personality will be missed by all that knew him.

Those left behind to cherish Billy’s memory are his daughter, Breana Steere; father, Greg Steere; stepmother, Barbara Steere; his mother, Tricia Griesman; sister, Rachalle Potter; brothers, Alex Steere, Jeffrey Steere; niece, Christina Steere; and Karen Bellavia.

A memorial service in honor of Billy’s life will be held at a later date.

We met in the mid to late 90s when we were about 17. It was all about havin' fun! I remember the first time we met at a show and you were spoutin' off Germs lyrics. I knew we would be great friends but what followed was an unbreakable brotherhood! We could go years without hanging out and see each other and pick up where we left off as if it were the day before! So many memories but most are too inappropriate to post. "¡¡¡Mangera Chingao!!!" Love ya brotha!
