I will forever be grateful that Arlene and I were able to visit uncle Buddy and aunt Birdie at the beginning of December. Although we will not see aunt Birdie on this side of heaven, we look forward to forever. I do hope to visit uncle Buddy and my cousins again before long.

My Aunt Birdie was my like my second mother. When I found things too hard or just needed to know everything would be ok, I would go to Birdie and Buddy. I was always comforted and left knowing I was loved. I will miss my Aunt Birdie more than I can say. I know God has you now with the others that have gone before you and you are happy. I pray that your family and friends all can take comfort in that.

My Mother, my best friend, my teacher, my confidant. I miss you already. I take comfort in knowing you are with our Lord and Savior. I am so happy for you that you are now reunited with your Mother and Father. I know you have missed them very much. I know that one day you will greet us all with arms open wide. I will always love you, and you are always with me.

Where to begin? I won't say goodbye because I know we will meet again. In the mean time all of your family will love and miss you. You have been in my life over 68 years and were an important part in my mother's life for over 70 years. The strength you and Buddy have shared with the rest of this big Dement family has carried us through some very tough times. Say hello to Honey and the others who are there with you now. Your strength will help your own children, grandchildren and Buddy to find their way back to you some day. We love you and are missing you already.
