Bob Costilow, 69, of Nederland, Texas passed away April 22, 2014 at his home. He was born in Orange, Texas on February 23, 1945 to the late James Robert and Audrey Pennebaker Costilow. Bob owned and operated Bob Costilow Realtors and Appraisers, Inc. for over 30 years. He began his real estate career in the early ‘70s.

Bob grew up in Port Neches and graduated from Port Neches-Groves High School. He attended Lamar University and later obtained his real estate license and broker license. Bob was a state certified real estate appraiser. Bob was a member of the Nederland Board of Realtors.

Funeral services will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Angel Costilow. He is survived by his daughter, Shannan Costilow of Nederland; his sister, Charlene Dean of Beaumont; his grandsons, Jake and Josh Elmore, both of Port Arthur; and his nephews, Al Dean of Nederland and Kyle Dean of Katy.

Bob’s family would like to gratefully acknowledge Bob’s many friends over the years for their friendship and kindness to him and his family. Bob’s friends meant so much to him and were special in his life.
