Bobbie Mae Kowalik, 86, of Nederland passed away on January 11, 2013 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. She was born on June 22, 1926 in Leesville, Louisiana to Robert Parker and Fannie Merrell. Bobbie was an executive secretary for Texaco Refinery.A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancons Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on January 14, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, with Rev. Mark Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents husband, Ernest Eugene Kowalik and sister, Aline Sheppard. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Kowalik of Nederland and son, Gene Kowalik of San Antonio.
