Obituary

Bobby Ray Bradley, 85, of Nederland, Texas passed away Thursday, May 12, 2021. Bobby was born May 8, 1936 in Burkburnett, Texas to MJ and Ruth Bradley. He was a member of Seventh Street Baptist Church and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Bobby was the founder of Bradley’s Body Shop and began his business in 1966. His hobbies were golfing, boating, traveling in his RV.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, MJ Bradley and Ruth Capps Bradley; daughter, Penny Bradley; son, Sterling Bradley.

Those left behind to cherish Bobby’s memory are his wife of 63 years, Joyce Bradley of Nederland, TX; daughters, Angela Bradley Collins and her husband, Bill of Nederland, TX; Kim LeBlanc of Woodville, TX; grandchildren, Miranda Collins of Conroe, TX; Maegan Collins of Nederland, TX; Dr. Michael Soileau and his wife, Janice of Georgetown, TX; Ashley Bradley, Allison Bradley and Jennifer Bradley; four great grandchildren; and his beloved cat, Lillie.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Altus Hospice and nurses, Cristy Pulido, Judy Washington and Sandra Fisher for the love and care they provided to Mr. Bradley and his family.

A gathering of friends and relatives will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., with Mr. Bradley’s celebration of life to begin at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Melancon’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.
