My heart breaks with the loss of my longtime friend Brenda. We had a good friendship as our children were same age and we also shared our church family. We have been separated by many miles but not by our caring for each other..still felt a closeness. Sending prayers for all..you alway loved. Linda Edwards and family

Mrs. Kitty always gave my kids stickers at the door of Walmart when we shopped there. We had no family in the area, so the kids and I would stop by and see Mrs. Kitty. We met Brenda and she, Ronnie and Mrs Kitty became our extended family in Monticello. As time went by, Mrs. Kitty passed on and Brenda and Ronnie moved to Texas. My husband, kids and I moved to Tennessee. We were able to talk a few times over the years--actually just recently because I knew of the hurricane in the area. She always ended our conversations with "I love you" and to remember to call her again. Ronnie, I send my heartfelt prayers to you, your sons, daughter in laws and grandchildren. She always talked about how much you all meant to her. Brenda and Mrs. Kitty--thanks for being our family in Monticello. Good times...good times... Elizabeth Kissell
