Brenda Ann Peveto

Brenda Ann Peveto, 64, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away January 19, 2021. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on August 27, 1956 to Wilton K. LeBlanc and Shirley Ann Reaux LeBlanc. Brenda was a member of New Covenant Church in Port Arthur. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, and taking trips to the casino. Brenda’s life revolved around her family. The highlight of her day would be attending an event for one of her kids or grandkids. She loved her family with everything in her and she will truly be missed.

Those left to cherish Brenda’s memory are her loving husband, Lance Peveto; father, Wilton K. LeBlanc; her children, Mandi Hill and her husband John, Chris Peveto and his wife Staci, and Shelle Peveto; her grandchildren, Pren Hill, Jace Hill, Jayden Hill, Layla Hill-Peveto, Presleigh Peveto, Paityn Peveto, Kane Peveto, Allison Staton, Shale Peveto, and Sladunn Cochran; her great grandchildren, Brynn and Brax Molina; her sisters, Connie White and Jay Pam LeBlanc; her brother-in-law Darrell Peveto and wife Judy; her nephews, Cody Finn, T-Bill Bergeron, Bryan Peveto, and Jeff Peveto; her nieces, Tammy Peveto, Aimy Poche, Jamie Becker, Dawna Peveto, and Jayce White; also a ton of great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service being held at 2:00 p.m.

Due to Coronavirus-19 we request that friends and relatives practice social distancing while attending Branda’s visitation and service. All guests are required to wear a face mask before entering Melancon’s Funeral Home.

I have many memories of Brenda and they're all good. We had a lot of good times at the beach and at Laura Overton's house. She was always very kind and warm. I hate that she passed so young. Heaven gained a perfect angel.
