Brenda England Viles, 75, of, Port Neches, Texas passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Brenda was born October 21, 1946, in Port Arthur, Texas to Beatrice McDonald England and Willis England. She held many titles and was loved and treasured by those who were blessed to know her. Brenda graduated from Nederland High School and worked at White House department store for several years before becoming a stay at home mom. Brenda was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches, Goodyear Retiree Club and The Wingfoot Club. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Ralph, attending live music shows and spending time with her family and friends. Brenda also enjoyed hunting and fishing and was the president of the Moss Hill Hunting Club until recently.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Beatrice England; her brother, Billy England and her husband of forty-seven years, Ralph Viles who passed away on April 29, 2020. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Venita Wehrly and her husband Doug, Vickie Brown and her husband Jessie, Vonda Rasheta and her husband Nick, Valynda Viles and Kerri Hurlbut and her husband Jason; sister-in-law, Barbara Radeleff and her husband Ernest; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; honorary son, Brent England and his wife Tarynn and sister-in-law, Cheryl England.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to: Laila Hurlbut, Felicia Jacobs and Terry and Terrell Ross for all the love and care they gave to Brenda in the last few years.
A visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Melancon Funeral Home in Nederland. A Chapel Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2022, at Melancon Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Brent England, Terrell Ross, Ted McDonald, Kadyn Rucker, John Cole and Gene Dunnam.
In honor of Brenda, donations can be made to the Ralph and Brenda Viles Endowed Scholarship at Lee College in Baytown.
