Brett Alan Bordonaro, beloved son, brother, and father, 24, of LaBelle, Texas passed away unexpectantly Monday, May 31, 2021. Brett was born September 10, 1996, in Port Arthur, Texas to Scott and Kimberlee Bordonaro. Brett was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He graduated from Friendswood High School in 2015 and was employed with Fitzz & Shipman, Incorporated.
Brett enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing video games. He also loved going to the lake during the summers. His favorite meal consisted of pork chops, rice, pinto beans, and anything hot and spicy. Brett always enjoyed a good scary movie and riding insane rides at the carnival. He was always the life of the party and made people laugh even if it was at his own expense. Brett’s pride and joy was his son, Jude.
Brett is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Linda Hallmark; grandfathers, Kenneth Bordonaro and Allen Dauphine; great grandparents, Jesse G. and Henrietta Morua and W.P. and Addie Hallmark.
Those left behind to cherish Brett’s memory are his parents, Scott and Kim Bordonaro of LaBelle, Texas; son, Jude Bordonaro; siblings, Blake Bordonaro and Brookelyn Bordonaro; grandfather, John P. Hallmark; grandmother, Martha Dell Dauphine; grandparents, Mike and Pat Reddrick; uncle, John Hallmark and his wife, Amy of Friendswood, Texas; great uncle, Jesse Morua and his wife, Diane of Orange, Texas. Brett is also survived by numerous cousins and extended friends and relatives.
A Christian Vigil will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m., Friday, June 4, 2021, at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 5, 2021, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland. Rite of Committal will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland.
