Brian Poirier, 52, of Kirbyville, TX, went to be with the Lord December 17, 2012, at his home. Brian was born June 16, 1960 in Holyoke, MA, to Beverly Poirier-Maciejko and Marcel A. Poirier. Brian was a resident of Kirbyville, TX and was a graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Brian was a loving husband, son, brother and friend who enjoyed fishing, restoring cars, golf and spending time with his family. He loved life on the ranch, his dogs, Nina, Abbey and McCoy, and mostly making people laugh. Brian is survived by his mother Beverly Poirier-Maciejko and Step-father, Henry Maciejko of Henderson, New York; his loving wife, Deborah Poirier of Kirbyville, four siblings, Randall Poirier and Marcy Poirier of Port Neches, Laura Jones and husband Rory of Groves and Nical Matthews of Hampshire. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Christopher Place and Lacin Moses of Port Neches, Jessica Valka of Nederland, Julia Jones of Groves, Michael Poirier and Jason Martin of Port Neches, and Great Nephew Dylan Place. Brian was preceded in death by his father Marcel Alexander Poirier. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 12:00pm with funeral services to follow at 2:00pm at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, TX. Arrangements for cremation will be entrusted to Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas.
