Buck Duane Lide

Buck Duane Lide, 83 of Lumberton formerly of Nederland, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. He was born in Canton, Texas on November 18, 1934 to the late Thomas Harm Lide and Ruth E. Phillips Lide. Buck was an iron worker for Texaco Chemicals for over 40 years before retiring.
Those left to cherish Buck’s memory are his wife of 36 years, Janice Lide of Lumberton; his sons, Michael Aylor and his wife Carrie of Lumberton, Tim Aylor and his wife, Deana of Port Neches, Mark Aylor and Elizabeth of Boaz, AL, and Brian Lide and his wife, Pam of Bridge City; his daughter, Marla DuBose of Bridge City; his sisters Janis Baskin of Martins Mill and Vernie Holland of Euless; and his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Harold and Homer Lide; and his sister, Maxine Paul.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be at Melancon’s Funeral Home on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
