Bundeen "Bunny" Martin, 85, of Groves, Texas passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Bunny was born November 23, 1934 in Merkel, Texas to Arthur McNutt and Ethel Hawkins McNutt. She was a resident of Groves for 60 years and a member of First Baptist Church of Groves. She retired from the medical records department of Park Place Hospital after numerous years of service. Bunny was an avid reader, and taught Sunday school at First Baptist Church Groves for many years. She loved fishing and playing golf with her husband, and enjoyed many outdoor activities with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Knowles; son, Steve Martin; two grandsons, Jeremy Martin and David Wilson; and her ten siblings. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Charles Martin of Groves; daughter, Laura Martin of Houston; sons, Don Martin and wife Luanne of Winnie, and Curtis Martin and wife Sandra of Mauriceville; grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Melanie, Ashley, Daryl, Jared, Sara and Cheyenne; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Services are under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas.
