I am so saddened to learn the belated news of Nick's passing into eternal life. Nick and I became like brothers, by doing my taxes for at least 30 years. He served his clients from the heart. And I thank my Heavenly Father for the opportunity to know Nick even for such a short period of time. But now I offer my condolences to the family, and ask God to bless each you all and give you peace.

I worked with nick at Lit in the 90s. Knew him via LU before that. He was there for me when I lost my wife to cancer in 1996. He has been doing my taxes ever since. I will really miss him. If I can be of any help to the family just ask 203-9391.

I have been blessed in my life to have had the Fruge Family as my second family. Nick and Danita were always dad and mom. I spent as much time at their home as I did at mine if not more. I was always treated as one of their own children. When walking into their home, I would more often than not find Dad in his office and he was always more than willing to sit and listen if I had a problem. Not living in Texas has been hard because I have missed spending time with the Fruge family. I love you Dad and will miss you until I can see you again!

My second "brother" with all the teasing and a bit of sarcasm, he made me laugh so hard I almost cried. I will miss Nick's eloquent speaking, and knowledge of history of the area. 45 years of friendship have flown by... I will keep your stories in my heart . Love to Danita and your children ❤️ We will do our best to help her through this. Deanna Remily

We must have known one another before this life - being with Nick was just that comfortable.

So sad to hear of his passing. I have memories of going to the LDS bookstore years ago. It was always a highlight of going to visit my hometown. Prayers for his family.

I worked with Nick for several years at Centex Mgt. He helped me on occasion with filing my taxes. Very helpful. I did meet all his children over those years. My heart goes out to Danita and all the kids and many grandkids. May he rest in peace with no pain. All my love, Cindy Dorsey

This brings great sorrow to our family on hearing the passing of our Tx friend, our Tax Man. He was great guy with a wonderful family that he always discussed on our yearly visits. We will never find another to do the job that he did for us. He will be truly missed. May God bless his family.

I did not know Mr. Fruge, but I have the pleasure of working with his very talented and lovely daughter, Caryn. I remember speaking with him on the phone once when Caryn and I were trying to figure out a tax or payroll problem. He was very helpful to us no math people!
