Caleb Michael Crochet

Caleb Michael Crochet, 30, of Groves, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Caleb was born on December 28, 1992 in Port Arthur, Texas to Kerry and Tina Crochet.
Caleb was a member of Triumph Church in Nederland and a devoted father to his children. Caleb enjoyed life on the water, fishing and riding his jet-ski. When he wasn’t on the water he spent his time riding four-wheelers, motorcycles and go-carts.
Caleb was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Milton Lee Crochet, Sr., and Georgia Helen Crochet; maternal grandfather, Johnny Ortiz; uncle, Milton Lee Crochet, Jr. and the love of his life and mother to his children, Maccie Rodrigues.
Those left to cherish Caleb’s memory include his parents, Kerry Dean Crochet and Tina Marie (Ortiz) Crochet; children, Camden Reid Crochet and Madelynn Georgeann Crochet; brother, Aaron Crochet; sister, Sarah Crochet Perez and her husband, Abraham; maternal grandmother, Maria Ortiz; uncles, Ricky Crochet and his wife, Linda; Kenneth Crochet, Larry Crochet and John Ortiz; aunt, Rebecca Frady and her husband, Kevin; and a host of extended family and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Caleb’s Life to begin at 3:00 p.m., at Triumph Church Nederland; 1407 S. Hwy 69, Nederland. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
