Camille Joseph “C.J.” Bourg, 75, of Port Neches, Texas passed away June 4, 2020. He was born in Orange, Texas on April 18, 1945 to the late Paul Jerome Bourg and Elydia Toural. He was employed as a machinist at Texaco for 36 years and also served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves for six years.
Those left to cherish C.J.’s memory are his wife of 53 years, Charlotte Bourg of Port Neches; his daughter, Kristi Mire; his granddaughter, Emily Mire; his grandson, Parker Mire; his sister-in-law, Cathy Bourg of LaPorte; his brother-in-law, Connie Landry of Plano; his sister-in-law, Barbara Anglin and her husband Don of Port Neches; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Margaret Landry; and his brother, Paul Bourg.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home followed by entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
