Carl Edward Cunningham Sr.

Carl Edward Cunningham, Sr., 60, of Nederland, Texas passed away March 25, 2014 at his home. Carl was born in Louisville, Kentucky on November 20, 1953 to the late Carl Henry and Delsia Montgomery Cunningham. He was a member of Mid County Baptist Church and an electrical mechanic.

A graveside service will be held at Friendship Cemetery in Roganville, Texas on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Janell Hanks officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Dexter and Roy Cunningham and his granddaughter, Kayla Marie Robinson. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Hughes Cunningham of Nederland; his children, Carl Edward Cunningham, Jr. of Kountze, Elizabeth Anne Jackson of Lakeview, Christi Marie Fontenot of Vidor, Amy Renee Guidry of Austin, and Ryan Keith Leeper of Mesa, Arizona; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Ronnie Montgomery of Cub Run, Kentucky, Thomas Woosely of Ohio, and Daniel Cunningham of Jasper; and his sister, Julia Burkhart of Cub Run, Kentucky.
