Carl N. Parker, 87, of Port Neches, Texas died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. Carl was born March 15, 1924 in San Diego, California to Carl Parker, Sr. and Elva Bell Parker. He was a resident of this area for 26 years and a retired Electrical Engineer with Citgo. He was a member of First United Methodist Church Groves, Groves Masonic Lodge #1315 and was also a US Air Force Veteran. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the funeral home. Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalind Parker. Surviving relatives include his daughter, Carol Martin and husband, Stan of Flint, Texas; sons, Michael Parker and wife, Debby of Port Neches, Texas; Gregg Parker and wife, Peggy of Murphy, Texas; grandchildren, Maura Makelki and husband, Jon, Amanda Hartsfield and husband, Clay, Jacob Parker and Joel Martin, great grandchildren, Blake and Ryan Makelki, Parker and Alison Farris.
