Lolly, I was so sorry to hear of Carl's passing. I have always loved you and Carl, and I have fond memories of working with Carl at the hospital, and also good memories and laughter from First Christian church in Port Arthur. I would have driven down to Mid County for the funeral, had we not already had a vacation planned. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Mandy Quarles Hauck

There is no greater man on this planet who can make up bedtime stories about his four grandchildren and include their names, putting the brightest smiles on their faces. Grampy, we will all miss you very much. But, we know that you're in a much better place. Thank you for everything, and we love you. "It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived." -General George S. Patton
