Carmen was my best friend during our Jr. High years. Spent many nights at her home , we ruled the skating rink, laughed, cried, and shared many fears, heart breaks and secrets. We were very different in so many ways which is why we got along so well. Our good and bad habits made for a good balanced between us! Carmen was always a good friend. I know you are finally pain free and with Lord. I'll always remember you.

I mostly remember Carmen as the little sister of one of my friends. In my 20's we ran into each other at a laundromat and I was surprised at the vibrant woman she had become. It was a brief encounter that left an impression nonetheless. Over the years my sister Lynn stayed in touch with Carmen and would occasionally bring me up to date with the happenings in her life. My condolences for your loss.

Having met Carmen as a very young mother, I found her to be a very sweet and loving person who cherished her family, her friends, and as time proved, her very life. She faced each obstacle in her life with an unyielding courage and loving heart, like a shining light that just wouldn't go out.. and her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who have loved her and will remember her forever.
