Carol WiseCarol Ann Brammer Wise was born in Port Arthur, TX, January 1, 1941 1st New Years baby of Jefferson County and went to the Lord surrounded by family and friends at her home in Nederland, TX on May 30, 2009.Preceded in death are parents, George H Ruth A. Cahal Brammer of Port Arthur, TX and her husband, Jimmy Jim Wise.Carol attended and graduated in 1959, from Bishop Byrne Catholic High School in Port Arthur. She was a member of the award winning Colleens B.B.H.S. Drum and Bugle Corp, as well as several school organizations throughout high school. Carol was a driving force in forming the Bishop Byrne High School Alumni All Catholic High School Reunion.She met and was married for 48 years to the love of her life, Jimmy Jim Wise deceased.Carol is survived by her three sons, Bryan D. wife April of Nederland, Gary L. wife Alicia of Round Rock and Traye G. wife P. K. of Katy six beautiful grandchildren, Douglas, Brittany, Danielle, McKenzie, Victoria and Ashton Wise. She is also survived by three loving sisters, Barbara A. husband Emil Milich, Port Arthur, Rebecca L. husband Tommy Smith of Port Arthur and Patricia G. husband David Carlsen, Groves brotherinlaw, Clyde D. Butch Wise and wife Carol L. of Bryan and many nieces, nephews and cousins.Carol retired in June, 2003 as a respected office managerbookkeeper for 26 years.She spent the last years of her life at home, after suffering a massive stroke in July, 2004. Even though she was bed ridden, Carol loved and lived life to the fullest.Memorial services will be Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. and will be conducted by Rev. Edgar Claijo, at Heritage Funeral Home.
