Transformations happen when you choose to trust in God’s plan! God called one of his precious angels home today. Carol Anne Foret, 57, of Nederland, TX., unexpectedly passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018. She was born on January 3, 1961 in Port Arthur, TX to John and Jessica (Barbosa) Garcia of Nederland, TX.
Carol was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, friend and coworker. People knew that they were loved the moment she met them. She was an exquisite nurse and delighted in serving others. Carol loved to travel with her husband. She was his Pride and Joy! Carol was a lifelong member of St. Charles Catholic Church where she spent many years teaching CCD and an active member of the bereavement committee. Carol enjoyed spending time with her mother and attending ABWA meetings.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Bill Foret; her sons, Travis and Brandon; her daughter, Victoria Gracian; her grandchildren, Addie Foret, Valerie and Julian Gracian, and MaKenna Foret; her parents, John and Jessica Garcia; her sisters, Della, Kathy, Jessica, and Angel; brothers, John, Joe, and Drew; numerous other family members nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her brother, Hank Garcia.
Visitation is Friday, November 16, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. The family requests participation for the funeral procession to be at Melancon’s Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m. with the procession to begin at 9:30 a.m. to the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue, Nederland, TX. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 618 Block, Port Neches, TX.
