Carol Jean LeBlanc, 79, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Carol was born March 29, 1939 in Groves, Texas to Dudley Benton and Lucy Conner Benton. She was a homemaker, a lifelong area resident, and member of the Catholic faith. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Norris LeBlanc, and sister, Ruthie Crochet. Survivors include her daughters, Catherine Bodin and husband Tommy of Groves, and Cynthia Ann Hall of Loveland, CO; son, Michael Roy Richard and wife Michelle of Spring; sisters, Betty Gomez of Georgetown, Virginia Moore of Groves, and Nancy Gates of Village Creek; brother, Thomas Benton of Groves; grandchildren, Jennifer James, Brandon Bodin, Katy Wyly, Amy Romero, and Taylor Richard; great-grandchildren, Collin James and Aiden James. A visitation for family and friends will be at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. Rosary. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 1, 2018 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches with Reverend J. C. Coon officiating.
