Carolyn "Carol" Jean Weems

      Carolyn "Carol" Jean Weems, of Nederland, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on June 29, 2024. Carol was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was known for her warm personality, hard work ethic, and deep love for her family.

      Born on June 25, 1965, in Baltimore, Maryland, Carol led a fulfilling life characterized by her dedication to her career at Tri-Con Incorporated. She found great joy in serving her customers and was respected for her commitment to excellence.

      Carol's memories will always be carried by those who knew and loved her. She had a special bond with her children and grandchildren whom she supported wholeheartedly in all their endeavors. Her presence at their extracurricular activities and events was a shining example of her unwavering love and encouragement.

      In addition to her professional achievements, Carol had a vibrant personality that left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Her infectious laugh could brighten any room, and her independence and strong work ethic served as inspiration to many.

      Outside of work and family life, Carol enjoyed various hobbies and interests. She took pleasure in cooking delicious meals, indulging in spicy foods, and watching crime shows. Her love for the beach and spending time by the river watching boats drift by brought her immense joy. Not to mention, she had a fondness for scratch-off lottery tickets that added an element of excitement to her days.

      Carol leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara Pearl Luebke and Raymond Leonard Harris.

      Carol is survived by her daughters Michelle Blair Cacioppo and her husband Jake of LaBelle, Ashley Priscilla Gonzales and her husband Jose of Port Acres, and Desireé Jordan Weems of LaBelle. Her grandchildren Brianna Gonzalez, Mia Gonzalez, Hailee Cacioppo, Cash Gonzalez, Ryker Cacioppo, Tyler Cacioppo, Emma Gonzalez, Mallory Cacioppo, and Case Gonzalez meant the world to her. She is also survived by her siblings Raymond Harris Jr., and April Whitehead.

      A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. A Celebration of Carol's Life will begin at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 8, 2024, at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland.

      Carol touched the lives of many with her kindness and dedication. She will be remembered fondly as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend — someone who brightened the world with her presence. May she rest in peace knowing she was deeply loved.
