Carolyn Sons

Carolyn Sons, 58, of Nederland, TX passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, TX.
She was born in Houma, La. on October 21, 1954 to Antione and Eula Trahan.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel at Melancon Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 6:00 p.m., Rev. Kirk Ellander and Rev. Ryan Olivier officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September, 17, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel J. Sons of Delcambre, LA; mother Eula (LaBelle) Boudreaux and stepfather, Norman (Butch) Boudreaux of Port Arthur; children: Rene Lisenby of Bridge City; Eric Landry, Keith Landry, Kevin Landry all of Bay St. Louis, MS; Jessie Trahan of Picayune, MS; Misty Gregoire of Dulac, LA; Tiffany Mouton of St. Martinville, LA; and Brandon Sons and Dillon Sons, both of Nederland. Carolyn is also survived by thirteen brothers and sisters, twenty-six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her father, Antione Trahan; daughter, Danielle Sons, and one sister, Pamela Trahan.
