Carrol Arvel Riley, 86, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 at Bonne Vie in Port Arthur. He was born July 28, 1933 in Colcord, Oklahoma to William Harold Riley and Cleo Ramsey Riley. Carrol proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was a lifelong area resident and was a newspaper type setter and composer for 41 years starting with the Port Arthur News in 1957 and retiring from the Beaumont Enterprise in 1998. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with funeral services to follow at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend Mark Smith officiating. Burial will be in Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Carrol is survived by his wife of sixty five years, Billie Faye Riley of Port Arthur, TX, two daughters, Carolyn Riley Simpson and husband James of Groves, TX, and Cheryl Riley Gregg and husband Jimmie of League City, TX., four grandchildren, Kerri May and husband David, Kristi Dupuis and husband Dustin, Brittany Lopez and husband Armando and Brian Barnard and girlfriend Kimberly Roberts, and five great grandchildren, Chloe Lopez, Mackenzie May, Skyler May, Olivia Dupuis and Owen Dupuis.
