Catherine Irene Myers, 57, passed away June 30th 2018 peacefully in her sleep in Groves, Texas. Cathy was born April 15th 1961 in Port Arthur, TX the youngest of six children of Carl and Virginia Myers whom both preceded her in passing. She is survived by her only child, daughter Aimee Lynch and her only grandchild, Allison Esquivel of Port Arthur, TX; four brothers: Jerry Myers and wife, Dianne of Gettysburg, PA, Kenneth Myers and wife, Kay of Groves, TX, David Myers of Groves, TX, and Dennis Myers of Port Arthur, TX and her only sister Peggy Wacha and husband, George of Palestine, TX.; many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends, each of whom she shared a special relationship with. Cathy was a fast and loyal friend to many, an avid reader and talented writer, an adventurous and kind soul full of humor and wit. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. A gathering of friends and family for a celebration of Cathys life will be held at the Carriage House at Beau Reve, 4400 Atlantic Road, Port Arthur, TX 77640, from 2-6pm Saturday July 7, 2018. Food donations for the memorial are welcome and can be delivered to Beau Reve beginning at 1:00 pm on Saturday.
