Cesar Manuel Martinez-Barragan, of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully while he was sleeping on June 25, 2020 at the age of 54. Cesar was born April 23, 1966 in Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico to Tomas Martinez and Alicia Barragan de Martinez. He was a resident of Port Arthur, Texas and a self-employed carpenter. Survivors include his daughters Karen Martinez and Ashley Martinez of Del Rio, Texas, sisters Maria Eugenia Bach and husband Travis Bach of Port Arthur and Dora Alicia Martinez of Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico; brother Rodrigo Martinez of Houston, Texas and his three grandchildren, Ariadnea, Arabela and Angel of Del Rio, TX. Cesar was a very spiritual and generous person. He was a hardworking man and he enjoyed the simple things of life, listening to music, drinking his beer, fishing and barbecuing. He loved his family and he was always there to help anyone. He will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him. A visitation of family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2020 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Tx. Followed by memorial service at 6:00 p.m. with Reverend John Hughes officiating.
