Charles Edward "Eddie" Berry

Charles Edward “Eddie” Berry, 77, of Nederland, Texas passed away June 23, 2019. He was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on April 20, 1942 to the late Jerry I. Berry and Helen Pearl Hebert Berry.

Those left to cherish Eddie’s memory are his wife, Carolyn Berry of Nederland; his daughter, Amanda Landry and her husband Kevin of Port Neches; his grandchildren Brandon Landry and Hannah Raines; his great-grandchildren Case and Emma Landry; and his sister Doris Anne Walker of Bridge City. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers Jeffery and Leslie Burke.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, with the funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m.

I remember when the Berry’s house on Boston Ave. was pink. I remember how hard Mr. Berry and his brother in law, Wade, worked so hard closing in the carport, adding on, and remodeling their home. They did such a beautiful job. I remember going to Honey Island in this car...and Sears...
