Charles Ray “Chuck” DuBois, 79, of Port Neches passed away Friday, September 30, 2022, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. Charles was born April 17, 1943 in Vidor, Texas to Ethel and Harry DuBois.

Charles served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Port Neches. He loved to go crabbing and work in the yard. Charles enjoyed listening to 50’s and 60’s music. He was an avid reader and a great cook.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ethel DuBois.

Those left to cherish Charles’ memory include his wife of 54 years, Maria DuBois of Port Neches, Texas; sons, Jason Charles DuBois and his wife, Lisa of Port Neches, Texas; Joshua Dale DuBois of Port Neches, Texas; grandchildren, Paige DuBois, Zephin J. DuBois and Madison DuBois; brother, Dennis H. DuBois and his wife, Sue; sister, Denice Reed and her husband, Max and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. A Celebration of Charles’ Life will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
