Charles Herman Gerald Jr.

Charles Herman Gerald Jr. C. H. Gerald., 94, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Port Neches. Officiating will be Reverend Rob Jones. Burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Port Neches.
C. H. was born in Port Arthur, Texas on July 19, 1929, to Charles Herman Gerald Sr. and Irene Jackson-Gerald. He worked for Gulf Refinery as an Electrician for 37 years before retirement. He was a member of the Port Neches/Groves Masonic Lodge #1163.
He was preceded in death by his two sisters, and his daughter-in-law Molly Gerald.
He is survived by his wife, Ylora Gerald of Beaumont, TX; two daughters, Lori Helms and husband John of Dallas, TX; and Cydney Crooks and husband Troy of Beaumont, TX; two sons, Gary Gerald of Nederland, TX; and Tim Gerald and wife Sharon of Groves, TX; ten grandchildren, Eric Peltier and wife Mariah; Aaron Peltier and wife Tisha; Madison Helms; Cydney Helms, Matt Gerald; Haley Hollie and husband Aaron; Hannah Huckaby and husband Kevin; Olivia Contreras and husband Morgan; Kara Williamson and husband Tanner; and Coby Crooks and wife Logan; five great-grandchildren, Evan, Davis, Grace, Jonathan, and Abigail.
