Charles Jackson Irons, Jr. Charles Jackson Irons, Jr., 45, of Nederland, Texas died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at his residence. Charles was born May 4, 1970 in Beaumont, Texas to Charles Jackson Irons, Sr. and Jackie Stricker Irons. He was a lifelong resident of this area and a Process Operator at DuPont with 7 years of service. Charles was also a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Nederland and a US Marine Corps Veteran serving in Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and the Army National Guard. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church in Nederland under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home Port Neches. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles J. Irons, Sr. Surviving relatives include his wife, Melinda Fleenor Irons of Nederland, Texas; parents, David and Jackie Campbell of Beaumont, Texas; daughter, Emily Carol Irons of Nederland, Texas; son, Charles Jackson Irons III of Nederland, Texas; aunt, Connie Irons Mayo Hooks of Nederland, Texas; step-brothers, David W. Campbell IV and wife Cecilia of Bellaire, Texas; Philip Campbell of Round Rock, Texas; and Craig Campbell and wife Susan of Hampton, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Melinda, I have no words. There are no words that will I can say that will ease the pain that you and your babies are feeling. I loved my charlie. He was one of a kind. His body isnt here in the physical world but his soul lives on. His body is no longer hurting. But his soul is dancing in the clouds. I love you and i will keep you in my prayers.

To Charles' wife and children. I am so sorry for your loss at such a early time in his life and unable to see his children grow. I am so saddened by his passing. We never stayed very close but correspondenced when we could. He was a great friend,kind to everyone one he met and person as we grew up together. Charles will be greatly missed.
