Charles “Charlie” Marshall, 61, of Groves, died Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.

A gathering of Charlie’s family and friends will be 12 Noon until service time at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. A graveside service will follow at the Bethany Cemetery in Colmesneil at 4:30 PM.

Charlie was preceded in death by his father, Charles Hardy Marshall, and his nephew, Brandon Keith Marshall. He is survived by his partner, Denise Rogers of Groves; his mother, Nora Marshall of Nederland; two daughters, Rachael Marshall, and Chelsea Marshall both of Vidor; his son, Charles Christopher Marshall of Nederland; his sister, Brenda K. Distefano of Nederland; his brother, Roger Keith Marshall and his wife Brenda Faye of Fannett; two grandchildren, Lily and Emma Marshall.
