Dear Lue, I'm so sorry about my sweet first cousin Lindy leaving us all but he's now in Heaven where we'll meet again some day. I'm so glad that we followed you home the day Nira was buried. We had such a nice long visit. I often think about that day. You and Lindy spoke with so much love about your 9 children and their families. What a blessing ! I'm sure they are proud to call you (Mom and Dad) I love you Lue, and may God bless you and your loved ones..

Dear Leu and ALL your family, My heart goes out to all of you for your great loss. Lindy was a wonderful person and a cherished first cousin. Growing up his family visited all of us Louisiana 'Cajun' relatives and he, especially, enjoyed coming to our home in the country where there were many acres to roam, horses to ride, a barn filled with hay to play in and a swimming 'hole' that my dad dug out where the water was piped to go into the rice field. Two huge trees shaded us so there was no sunburns! The 40's truly were THE GOOD OLD DAYS. Rest in peace dear Lindy until we meet again. And may God bless your wonderful family.

Dearest Llewellyn, Janell, Sue and Lindy's children, grandchildren, great-grabdchildren and other loved ones; this is Miss Dianne (Dianne Thompson to you, Sue ), I'm so sorry to hear of Lindy's passing (Charles Jr's was hard enough) and now Lindy. You all have lost a fine loved one; a wonderful person who loved his family very much. I have my late Uncle R.A. Eskind's 1948 War Whoop and saw a picture of Lindy in his sophomore year at PNG (just PNHS then). I came to know Lindy and Llewellyn as Charles Jr's 3rd grade teacher; Lu, you Charles were awesome parents. I know you all are going to miss Lindy so, keep your memories close to your hearts. Sincerely, Miss Dianne (Dianne Thompson Hollier)

Lindy and Lue were wonderful parents to 9 very fine children. We live next door to them for few years and I never seen him lay a hand on those kids and they all grew up wonderful. We went rabbit hunting one night and got stuck behind the base ball field. The PNG officer told us to get out of there and go home. I got in that car and if was stuck no longer. We had some good times. He and my dad worked at Pure Oil and his wife was country girl from McNeely Settlement area of Hardin County where my Dad was raised. Praying for this family.
