Charles "Chuck" McCray Sr.

Charles “Chuck” McCray, 55, of Groves, passed away on Tuesday, December 05, 2017, in Port Arthur. Chuck was born on March 30, 1962 in Beaumont to Frank L. McCray, Sr. and Mary Morrison McCray. He was a Transmission Technician in the automotive repair industry. Chuck was a lifelong resident in this area. He loved hot rods, racing and everything to do with cars.
Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Mary L. Seymour and husband, John of Nederland; father, Frank L. McCray, Sr. and wife, Connie of Lumberton; daughters, Angel McCray of Fort Worth, Alisha Hansen and husband, Scott of Nederland, Taylor McCray and Brooke McCray both of Buna and Kaylie McCray of Orange; son, Charles McCray, Jr. of Buna; sister, Molly Edwards and husband, Darren of Port Acres; fiancé, Angie Morgan of Groves; grandchildren, Alyssa LoBue, Kaden Mallory and Kolton Mallory. Chuck is preceded in death by his brother, Frank L. McCray, Jr.; daughter, Ashley McCray Mallory and step-daughter, Haelie Morgan.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at Memory Gardens in Nederland with Bro. Butch Perkins officiating.
In lieu of flowers you may send a memorial contribution to The American Cancer Society in Chuck’s memory.
