Charles Robert Quisenberry, 61, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on November 17, 2022.
Charles was born on December 6, 1960 in Port Arthur to his parents, Robert & Georgia Quisenberry. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1979, and served over 30 years with the City of Port Arthur Fire Department as a firefighter, arson investigator, & Battalion Chief before his retirement in 2010. Charles had a love and passion for spending time at the beach with his family, and had a special place in his heart for his beloved dogs - Fraiser, Piper, & Willow. He also enjoyed being with his family & friends, and traveling to various different places for vacations.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Georgia Quisenberry of Port Arthur; grandparents - Raymond & Anna Matulik of Groves, and Benson & Agnes Quisenberry of Forsythe, Missouri; cousins - Chris Bullion, Therese Bullion-Femester, and John Clifford Hebert; along with several aunts and uncles.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Laurel Amy & husband Gary of Port Arthur; niece and god-daughter, Taylor Amy of Port Arthur; great niece and nephew, Gage & Harlow Whitten; niece, Kristy Amy & family of Forney, Texas; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 26th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Melancon's Funeral Home in Nederland, along with a celebration of life for family & friends to gather that will be held at a later date.
