I am deeply saddened and at a loss for words. Charles was a dear and cherished friend for many years in the 1980s when I was PAPD. I have often thought about the times you, Laurel and I spent in Triangles discussing life. May you rest in peace brother.

Quiz was a great guy, and I’ll always cherish the memories of him. I may him when I began my career as a dispatcher for the Port Arthur Police and Fire Departments. It was an honor and a pleasure to serve with him. While I am saddened by his passing, I’m also thankful to have had him as a friend and colleague. Keeping his family in thoughts and prayers. RIP, Quiz. Godspeed, my friend!
