Charles E. Tullah, 61, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at his residence. He was born on December 19, 1952 in Beaumont, Texas to the late Charles E. Tullah, Sr. and Alberta O. Baye Tullah. He was a lifelong resident of the area, and worked in transportation as a travel companion.
Charlie is survived by his sister, Peggy Harper and husband, Raymond of Nederland; niece, Carrie McDonald of Lumberton; nephew, Lonnie Delahoussaye, Jr. and wife, Katrina of Liberty; great nieces, Madyson McDonald of Lumberton; Evelyn Delahoussaye of Liberty; great nephew, Kale Delahoussaye of Liberty; brother-in-laws children, Lesha Olsen and husband, Andy, as well as their daughters and one great-granddaughter of Irmo, SC; Edward Harper and wife, Tracy of Goose Creek, SC; and David Harper of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by several aunts and one uncle. Charlie is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H in Nederland on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Kevin Badeaux officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Port Arthur. A gathering of the family and friends will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. prior to service time at the funeral home.
