Henry Charles Heisler, 93, of Port Neches, Texas passed away on January 8, 2023.
Charlie was born on October 3, 1929, in Port Neches to Minnie Pearl Cheek Heisler and Asa Chambers Heisler. He was a lifelong resident of Port Neches and graduated from Port Neches High School in 1948 where he was quarterback for the Indians. Charlie was drafted into the US Army upon graduation where he served with the 82nd Airborne. Upon military discharge he was employed by B F Goodrich in Port Neches and worked there for 35 years. He was always there to help people with anything mechanical and especially good at mechanic work on automobiles. He had a Heart of Gold when it came to helping people. He was loved dearly and will be missed greatly. PNG never had a more loyal native!
He is preceded in death by his mother and father and his brother Raymond Heisler and his Amiga Chula.
His survivors include his daughter Stacy Heisler, his son Blake Heisler and his wife Maria Dolores Heisler, a grandson Blaine Heisler and his wife Kendrick: great grand daughter Kennedy Heisler and great grandson Asa Heisler.
A gathering of friends and family will take place from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Melancon Funeral Home in Nederland. A graveside service will be held at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas at 3:00 p.m. January 12, 2023 under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Blake Heisler, Stacy Heisler, Blaine Heisler, Josh Premeaux, Casey Swafford and Tommy Paul.
