Charlotte Ann Sample Fruge, 68, of Port Arthur passed away August 20, 2012 at St. Marys Hospital in Port Arthur. She was born December 15, 1943 in Nacogdoches to the late John P. and Erma Lee Coates Sample. Charlotte was a retired first class welder for U. S. Steel.A funeral service will be held at Melancons Funeral Home in Nederland Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 3:00 p.m., Rev. Damon Scapin officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service.Charlotte is survived by her husband, Edward L.
